Kay has worked in the optical industry for over 30 years. She has worked in various areas from dispensing instruction to office management for optical corporations and private practices. She has a degree in Ophthalmic Dispensing and is American Board of Opticianry Certified.
In 2005 Eye Center Northeast opened the Optical Shop, and Kay came to work for her husband. She now manages that department as well as over seeing the optometric operations. She and Joanne enjoy working with the staff and pride themselves with giving personal attention to patients and customers. When not at the office, she and her husband try to keep up with their 3 daughters and their many activities.
Joanne joined the Eye Center Northeast team in 2007. She has 10 years experience in all medical front desk activities, but soon found her strong point in the optical shop. After training with Kay, Joanne successfully passed her exam and received her ABO Certification in June 2010.
The patients are very important to her and she truly enjoys being part of their optical experience. She lives in Newburgh and is very busy with her family that includes her husband and 5 children.
Stephanie D. has worked in the optical field since 1993 and joined the Eye Center Northeast team in 2001. She became lead Technician in 2007 which includes management duties. She is a member of the American Optometric Association's Paraoptometric Section and currently a board member for the Maine Paraoptometric Association.
She has been the Clinical Research Study Coordinator for Eye Center Northeast since 2009. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. They love to go camping, four wheeling and snowmobiling.
Christie joined the Eye Center Northeast team as a medical transcriptionist in 2003, and joined the front desk staff in 2007. She is training to be an optometric technician, performing visual fields and OCTs, and working towards her first certification.
Christie loves sports whether it be watching her New York Yankees, keeping stats or working concessions for her son's hockey and football teams, or cheering on her two daughters while playing softball or basketball. Christie enjoys interacting with patients and looks forward to seeing you soon!
Heather has worked in the medical field for 11 years. She joined the Eye Center Northeast team in 2002 as a medical secretary and is now working towards her next certification as a paraoptometric technician. Heather has enjoyed working in many areas at Eye Center Northeast.
Heather is a member of the American Optometric Association's Paraoptometric Section and a member of the Maine Paraoptometric Association. Every year she looks forward to volunteering with the State of Maine Opening Eyes Program, which gives free eye screenings to the special Olympians every summer.
Pat has been an Eye Center Northeast billing specialist for over ten years. Pat loves to knit and read. Every Christmas season Pat donates her hand knitted hats and mittens to the giving tree at EMMC to help out needy families.

Karen has worked in the eye related field for over 15 years, joining Eye Center Northeast in 1998. She began working at the front desk, and has since been trained in medical records and billing.
Karen's more recent responsibilities also include accounts payable and payroll. When not working, she enjoys spending her time with her family and her new grandson.
As the Administrator, Reg is responsible for all the daily operations of the practice. He has worked in health care for over 20 years managing hospital outpatient departments, private primary and specialty care group practices, and is a licensed life and health insurance agent in the State of Maine.
Reg received his B.S. in Business Administration from Husson College in 1989 and his M.B.A. from Husson College in 1995. He is also a nationally certified medical practice executive.
When he is not working he enjoys spending time with his fiancé and three daughters, hiking, golfing and travelling.
Tracy started her career as an optician after successfully completing a two-year optical program in 1998. She worked in Florida before deciding to move back to her home state of Maine.
Tracy is the newest member of the Eye Center Optical team, having joined the practice in September 2010. In addition to her optical responsibilities, you will also find Tracy assisting patients at the front desk area.
When she is not at work, she stays busy raising her daughter and participating in her many activities. She has also made fitness and her overall health a large part of her daily life.
